Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Angler. If you have a problem, let us know. Our refund policy is simple: a free trial is available before you buy, and we evaluate refunds on a case-by-case basis after purchase.
This policy covers purchases made through this website and the app's built-in checkout.
1. Free trial
Angler includes a full-featured 24-hour free trial with no purchase required and no payment information needed. During the trial, all features are available. At the end of the trial, the effect locks until you enter a valid license key.
We strongly recommend trying the full app during the trial period before deciding whether to purchase.
2. One-time purchase
Angler is a one-time purchase priced at $5.99 USD. There is no subscription, and no recurring charges are made. One license key unlocks Angler on up to three (3) Macs.
3. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us at support@getanglerapp.com within 7 days of purchase and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Purchases are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, so approved refunds may be issued by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method, and Lemon Squeezy's own refund terms also apply.
Refunds are granted at the sole discretion of Octagon. Factors we consider include:
- How recently the purchase was made
- Whether you have actively used the software beyond the trial period
- The nature of your concern or issue
We reserve the right to deny a refund if the software has been used extensively beyond the trial period or if the license key has been shared or misused.
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@getanglerapp.com with your purchase details and the reason for your request.
- Include the email address associated with the purchase and, if available, your license key or transaction reference.
- Our team will respond within 48 hours and process approved refunds promptly.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
If you initiated a chargeback or dispute through your bank or payment provider, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund directly instead of contesting the chargeback. However, we reserve the right to take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and payment provider policies.
6. Digital goods
Because the Angler app is a downloadable digital product with no physical goods shipped, and because the software is non-returnable once the license key has been delivered and activated, all sales are final except as provided in this policy. We handle all refund requests on a case-by-case basis as described above.
7. Changes to policy
Octagon reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
